LARGE SCULPTURES
I made my first sculpture with 16. Just a simple carving with a chainsaw while chopping down trees for firewood. For many years I did just that. The occasional chainsaw sculpture. In 2007 I got my first “studio”, a shipping container in hunters point. From then on I started to make sculptures not just with the chainsaw. Since then I had always a studio of some kind, be it the Kesselhaus at HB55 in Berlin, a place in the Honolulu Makerspace or my garage in Santa Clara. I explore media and tools as needed for the next vision. Many of the “one-off” sculptures I made since then you can see here.
